The HD200 dew point transmitter is designed to operate in extremely high humidity and temperature environments. The sensor is capable of measuring dew point to 100 °C(non-condensing) and operates within a temperature range of -40 °C to +200 °C. Users can also select the temperature in either degrees C or degrees F.

The dew point transmitter/meter includes a probe and electronic module that offer dew point measurements with NIST traceable calibration. The unit features all stainless-steel probe construction coupled with a high temperature cable allowing operation up to 200°C. For pressure applications, the probe is capable of handling 750PSI.
The HD200 has an enhance calibration for measuring dew points down to -60°C. The probe and electronics provide a single two wire loop powered 4-20mA interface. The units accept a voltage source from 12 to 28Vdc, 24Vdc is recommended. These units will display temperature in either °C or °F along with dew point. The RS232 allows a user to scale their outputs ranges as well as displayed units. The unit and sensor are connected via a 1 meter long temperature cable. This unit has a single output, 4-20mA output wiring and can provide a signal up to 400 ft.
HD200-M12 With Externally Accessible M12 Connection for RS232 or 4-20mA Output
The standard HD200 has an internal bi-directional RS232 port which is used for setting the temperature units and scaling the output. Although the process value can be read from the RS232 port it is not practical in a production environment since the connection to the RS232 port is internal and can only be accessed with the HD200 cover removed. The HD200-M12 is a version of the HD200 with an externally accessible M12 style connector which allows access to both the RS232 and 4-20mA signals. (Only one of the signals, either 4-20mA or RS232 can be accessed at a time) The RS232 output will not only provide the dew point temperature but humidity and temperature as well.
The HD200 dew point transmitter is the perfect unit for applications for compressed air, dryers and environmental chambers.
It works with inert gases such as Argon, Helium, Nitrogen and other noble gases. Air, Oxygen, Hydrogen, CO2, CO and ammonia (NH3) are additional gases the sensor performs well in. If you have any questions about your gas application , please contact IOThrifty.
