Humidity and Dew Point Measurement

Both humidity sensors and dew point sensors provide an indication of moisture content in a gas. Since humidity and dew point temperature are closely related, many instruments can provide both dew point temperature and humidity readings.

Humidity sensors and dew point sensors that have analog output are referred to as transmitters. Humidity Transmitters and Dew Point Transmitters are available with analog outputs like 0-10Vdc or 4-20mA. We also offer transmitters with digital outputs including RS485, Ethernet, WiFi and Cellular.

Humidity and dew point sensors that have a display are often referred to as meters. Humidity and dew point meters or transmitters will often have the ability to store data for later download which we refer to as data loggers.
