Thermocouple Connectors

Thermocouple connectors are used to connect one thermocouple wire to another wire. The connector provides a quick and convenient means of making and breaking the connection. The pins and sockets of the thermocouple connector should be made of the same material as the thermocouple wire so as not to introduce any error into the measurement. The data logger I have uses a different supplier’s SMC subminiature connector adapter. Is this the same as your MTCC miniature thermocouple connector?

Subminiature thermocouple connectors (flat pin) from different manufacturers are normally interchangeable.The body size and shape may be different but a male connector(connector with pins) from one manufacturer will normally plug into a female(connector with sockets) connector from a different manufacturer.
