The TC-SA is a thermocouple designed for the temperature measurement of solid surfaces. The sensor available in K or T thermocouple alloy consists of a beaded thermocouple joint which is machined flat to provide maximum surface contact and fast response time. The bead is mounted on a fiberglass cloth pad which has a silicone adhesive applied to it which allows the pad to be easily mounted to a surface. The thermocouple is rated to higher temperatures but the pad can be used to measure surfaces up to 350°F.
The TS-SA is available in 40 and 72 inch lengths.
Flat Junction Design
The junction of the TC-SA is manufactured using a proprietary welding process to form a flat bead which provides an excellent surface contact for exceptional accuracy.
