The SP1 is a remotely controlled AC plug that enables full control of connected devices via WiFi or mobile cellular connection. The SP1 can turn on or off AC power via it's local button, or remotely through a browser by the web console or through the mobile app. The SP1 also connects to external probes which can monitor various environmental parameters and transmit the data to the cloud platform or mobile app for viewing real time or historical data. The cloud platform can also trigger alerts when any of the measurements go out of a preset range. Alerts can be sent via email, app notification, SMS, voice call, or HTTP.
Muliple Control Modes
The SP1 supports multiple ways of controlling AC power. These modes include a virtual toggle switch for remote manual control plus three different time based control modes. You can even control AC power based on the remote the remote probe input. All control modes can be overridden by a toggle button on the SP1.
Manual Activation- A virtual toggle switch allows you to manually activate/deactivate the power.
Timed Task - Define time of day when the switch is activated or deactivated. It can be a one time event or reoccurring event.
Cyclic Task -Cycle the AC power on and off with adjustable on and off periods as well as when and how often the cycle occurs.
Delayed Timed Task - Activate or deactivate the switch after a specified period of time in hours and minutes.
Control Based On Remote Probe Measurement - The measurement value of remote probes connected to the SP1 can also be used to trigger the activation of the AC power. Since the control logic is implemented within the cloud platform this type of control is not recommended for critical control since loss of connection to the cloud will interrupt the control operation.
Optional Remote Probes for Monitoring, Recording and Alerts and More
The SP1 has two external sensor interfaces, RS485 and DS18B20 communication protocols, which allow it to connect to external probes.

A Full Featured Cloud-based Platform For Monitoring, Logging and Alerts
The SP1 transmits data to the UbiBot cloud platform which allows users to view the data from any device which has internet access. The UbiBot Cloud Platform has many powerful features including device management and configuration, data analysis and visualization, real time alerts plus more.
The free cloud plan is a good solution for most users but we also offer several different levels of paid subscriptions for users with large number of units and large data storage requirements. The table below provides a comparison of the different plans.
1. The storage space is cumulative and does not reset monthly but exporting all data will clear the storage space. If your device takes temperature, humidity and light sensor readings every 10 minutes, the free 200MB storage is enough to store over 2 years of data.
2. The Full Data Export amount is on a monthly basis (example 3 times per month for the free plan). If you only export the data collected over single month period, there is no limit on the number of exports as long as the export is less than 8000 records.
3. One credit equals $1 USD.
The UbiBot App Puts All of Your Data in the Palm of Your Hand
Also included is a free app compatible with most mobile devices. With the free UbiBot App you can
- Configure Your Devices
- View Data from All Devices
- Receive Alerts on Your Phone or Mobile Device
- Manage Your Devices
- View Shared Alerts
