The SOIL-PROBE is designed to provide soil temperature and moisture reading to the WS1-PRO and GS1 environmental data loggers.
The soil moisture probe measures soil moisture content based on frequency domain reflection method. The stainless steel probes may be inserted in soil for a long term without minimal corrosion. The durable cable ensures stable data transmission.
There are two versions of the SOIL-PROBE, one has a cable terminating in a micro USB connector, and is compatible with the WS1-PRO and the other with an has an audio plug and is compatible with the GS1 (compatible with all models except the GS1-A).
Used with the WS1-PRO or GS1, the measured values are displayed on the large LCD screen and synced to the UbiBot cloud platform. The cloud platform provides visualization of the data as well alarm notifications via emails, SMS texts, voice call, IFTTT and more.
