The N20K48 Temperature and Process Controller with WiFi Connectivity is a solution bundle which includes the state of the art N20K48 controller and the required accessories allowing remote access and monitoring via WiFi.  The bundle which may be ordered under one convenient part number includes the N20K48 controller, plug-and-play WiFi module, expansion dock and WiFi antenna for panel mounting.  There are several versions of the bundle available that also include the modules for different output options.

Universal Inputs
The N20K48 controller is a state of the art temperature and process controller which can accept inputs from most process sensors, transmitters and transducers including temperature sensors, pressure transducers, flow meter transmitters as well as many other sensor types.  It can accept eight different thermocouple types, PT100 RTDs, millivolts, voltages and milliamp signals.

Expandable I/O by Plug and Play Modules
The N20K48 is a modular controller that can accept a variety of modules providing different I/O as well communications options by adding ClickNGo modules. We are offering bundled solutions which may be ordered under one part number for bundled configurations including some of the more popular output modules but other modules are optionally available for:

  • 3 digital inputs (CG-3DI)
  • 3 digital outputs (CG-3DO)
  • RS485 interface (CG-485)
  • 1 relay 16 A (CG-R16)


Bluetooth and USB Communications Standard
The N20K48 includes both Bluetooth and USB communications.  These options are typically used for setup and configuration of the controller.

QuickTune Software(Free download)
QuickTune is a free software tool that supports the N20K48.  It allows configuration of all controller parameters and also provides monitoring and diagnostic features. QuickTune can communicate with the controller through any of the controllers communication options including WiFi. QuickTune is available in Windows version as well as a mobile app for Android and IOS devices.

Novus IoT Cloud for Remote Access
The NOVUS Cloud is an IoT platform solution for process data with online visual display. Ready-to-use with the N20K48 and other NOVUS smart IoT devices, it is the perfect choice for customers with low IT infrastructure or with requirements of unified data from multiple devices at multiple locations.  The  Cloud can receive information from the IoT devices, store it in the cloud database and present the data in  elegant dashboards. The Cloud can also send email alerts when an alarm condition exists. Hosted on a cloud server, the Cloud is accessible worldwide from any computer or mobile device with internet access.

Modbus TCP and MQTT Protocols Supported
The N20K48 with the WiFi module supports both Modbus TCP and MQTT industry standard protocols for remote devices.  Modbus TCP is normally used for communication with devices within the same local area network while MQTT is an extremely common protocol for messaging between IoT devices.  Support for these protocols allows the controller to work with a large variety of data acquisition and SCADA software packages from different manufacturers.
