In order to weld fine wire you need set the weld power high enough to form the weld but not so high as to melt the wires. This becomes increasingly difficult with fine wire. The TC-WELDER is a very good welder but power adjustment is not extremely sensitive which is why it is not suitable for welding fine wire. For that reason we rate the smallest recommended wire size at 30 AWG. We offer the a different welder, the L60, which has much finer power control for fine wire welding.
