There is full functionality on a Windows computer and partial functionality on a Mac. The data logger is configured using Windows software, which is downloaded from IOthrifty.com. That software will not likely run on a Mac. The configuration process includes setting up several parameters but probably the most important is the sample rate. One the logger is configured it will not need to be re-configured unless you want to change a setting.
To collect data, the logging process can be started and stopped with a button press. The data is logged to internal memory in both a .pdf and .csv file. Those files can be read from a Windows or Mac computer.
In summary you need a Windows computer to configure the logger but once that is done you can download data to a Windows or Mac computer.
