The WTC-TT-T-36-40-SL has an exposed bead. If inserted into a liquid it will measure the temperature but the liquid may eventually impact the the thermocouple. A T thermocouple is made of copper/constantan(nickel/copper alloy), so the compatibility of the liquid with those materials will determine how drastically the thermocouple will be impacted. You can also coat the tip of the thermocouple with an epoxy or similar substance to protect the thermocouple alloy.
We also offer thermocouple probes and hermetically sealed wire thermocouples which are better suited for immersion in liquid.
