The accuracy stated for TCTempX is for data logger alone and does not include the thermocouple accuracy. This is typical for most instruments since thermocouple accuracy varies based on the thermocouple class. In the United States there are two common thermocouple accuracy classes. They are the standard limits error and special limits of error accuracy classes. The total system accuracy includes both the TCTexmpX accuracy and the thermocouple accuracy.
