If the target is inside the magnetic field and the sensor head and electronics a sufficient distance from the field so as not to be impacted by the field we would not recommend the PyroCube for use. We have an infrared sensor which has a fiber optic head which is a better choice for use in a magnetic field. It is not at the time of this writing on IOThrifty.com.
