The TL400 is a standalone sensor but like most other sensors it requires some form of power and a device to read its output signal. The TL400 requires power from 9-33Vdc and will produce an output of 4-20mA to represent level, distance or tank volume. The 4-20mA signal is typically sent to another device such as a meter, data logger, data acquisition system or PLC. Programming is done via bluetooth and the free app. To access the TL400 by bluetooth power needs to be applied. Although most users employ 4-20mA output signal, the TL400 measurement can be read directly from the bluetooth as well.
