There are several considerations when using an infrared pyrometer to measure body temperature. We discuss many of these in our blog Measuring Body Temperature with an Infrared Sensor. Please note the PyroMiniUSB is a general surface temperature measurement device and not FDA approved so it should not be used for fever detection.
