The PyroCubeM has a spectral response of 2.2 µm. In order to measure the temperature of a target through a view port the glass must allow transmission of infrared energy of this wavelength. We don't have specific experience with Kodial Glass but after doing a little searching on-line, it appears the transmittance is about 90% up to 2.6µm which should make the PyroCubeM a good choice for this application. However, it is advisable to check with the manufacturer of the viewport to verify their glass does allow transmission of 2.2µm infrared energy.
