The NP400 pressure transducers are designed to measure positive gage pressure. They should not be used to measure pressures below atmospheric pressure. The NP400 has a dynamic response of 1 ms. The dynamic response is defined as the update time between the variation in measured pressure (process) and the update of the transmitter output. However, we don't suggest the NP400 for use in applications where the pressure is changing very rapidly constantly. That type of environment will eventually lead to fatigue of the transducer diaphragm and eventual failure.
