5V DC to start timer?
NT240 - Programmable Timer
Voltage pulse: Logic level 1: 5 to 30 Vdc / Logic level 0: -0.5 to +0.5 Vdc
NT240 - Programmable Timer SKU:NT240. I need help to confirm will work. Have 12V DC circuit. I want timer to start when signal of 5VDC is read. But my "off" state I find a 0.0009 V DC on the line I plan to use to trigger NT240. Will the timer be in an off state with this trace voltage/noise? Please advise. thanks

The NT240 is a very flexible device. It has many different modes of operation but starting on a trigger signal is one of its basic functions. The trigger can be from a digital input. The NT240 counter recognizes logic level signals 1 between 5 and 30Vdc, and as 0 up to 0.5Vdc. As the 0.0009Vdc is less than 0.5 Vdc, the NT240 will meet the requested characteristics and will work perfectly.
